Cross Country Olympic
Olympic cross-country is a matter of physical endurance. A circuit of natural elements like bottelnecks, potholes, cracks, field paths, forest roads and road parts, as well as recurring ascents and descents offers a colourful mix of challenging obstancles.
Beat Wabel from Switzerland let his creative imagination run free when he designed the 4,600 metres long track. An ideal mixture of biking technique, speed and responsiveness is demanded from the competitors. Additionally, there is a technical park, where special XCO-elements can be trained. Saalfelden is looking forward to becoming part of the international mountainbike scene by hosting this event soon.
